Met Maheshji in Al Ain for SreeM’s retreat, a decade ago. Thereafter learnt Yoga from him at Manav Bhavan. Then transferred to Barsha Pond Park for a good many years. Was under Silja for a long time. Covid forced us to go on Zoom. When they went back to the Park, I continued with The Gardens Group On Line with Biju & Anoup until they went back. Conveniently I followed Aastha.
So fortunate to continuing The Kundalini Yoga learning process direct from Maheshji now.

holisticyogaI would like to share my experience with Holistic Yoga Journey.
Jan 2021 I was suffering from a severe frozen shoulder and it was very difficult to move my right hand.

After consulting with my doctor, I had a HBA1C test done for Diabetes & the result was shocking, HBA1C was 12.4 – (Normal> 5.7 / Pre-diabetic Level 5.7 -6.2/Diabetic < 6.2), Doctor advised, medically, i have to go for insulin to control levels.
Instead of Insulin, I decide to control my diet, do walking & workout.

I met Biju somewhere in Feb, he suggested some hand exercises & asked me to join a holistic yoga class at Gardens –Dubai, at beginning it was very difficult because of my frozen shoulder, honestly my hand problem was very bad, there was very little movement.

Eventually, after a few weeks & slowly experiencing the flexibility in my body, tremendous increase in stamina & being full of energy.
Did HBA1C test after 3 months, it was 5.8 (normal range).

Usually, I do yoga from Sunday to Wednesday, but sometimes I have to skip due to meetings or some unavoidable work, I do some warm-up exercises & push ups at home only.
When I started yoga, my weight was 102 kg. I have lost more than 20 Kgs in the span of 6 to 7 months.
My sincere thanks to Biju & all the senior team members for their extraordinary guidance and support at all times.

I was under the impact of depression, insomnia and several other health issues. These issues were constantly obstructing my progress. I had developed the habit of insconscious eating. I was not able to plan, prioritise or push myself to do something productive. All my efforts were half hearted. She makes sure that each and every one of her students gets personalized attention – she takes her time to correct everyone’s postures all while doing Yoga along with us. Her guided Kundalini meditation sessions is a mind-blowing experience altogether – there is no way out, at the end of the session, other than feeling de-stressed and completely relaxed right before the start of each day. After joining Holistic Yoga, and cleaning up my diet, I was over-joyed to see that I was able to shed 10 kgs in 8 weeks, despite having hypothyroidism. Thank you Ms. Geethu and the Holistic Yoga team for not giving up on us!

balashreeHi all, just wanted to mention one amazing benefit I’ve seen just with three days of attending the morning yoga yoga sessions – my focus and concentration has improved a lot. Last year I have been diagnosed with MCTD which is an auto immune disease. I have been suspected to lungs problem and have issue during normal inhalation which causes pain in my chest. I was getting into deep sadness and was surrounded by alot of insecurities.

I came to know about holistic yoga through instagram and since then I have been practicing it regularly. Now I don’t have pain in my chest and can breathe easily. Now I can even know what my body needs and have enough strength in my body.

The talks with Mahesh sir had helped alot in knowing about myself and had created spiritual awakening.

Aastha ma’am is so supportive . The pranayama session has helped me organize myself internally.

praveenI joined Holistic Yoga three to four months back.
